MYTHOLOGY:
This course will primarily focus on the major mythologies of the world's past and the impact that these beliefs have on the history of the world. The course will address the mythology of ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Norse, Celts, Mesopotamians, India, and Romans. This will be accomplished by addressing the various gods and goddesses; their attributes and avatars; their spheres of influences in both the natural and political arenas; various heroes and demi-gods; and natural, creation and end-time myths. Students will also be required to create their own pantheon.
