The Oklahoma Astronomical Society is coming to Elgin on Thursday, April 3, to do a Star Party for our Astronomy class! They will be here at 7:30 in the evening with several telescopes and volunteers to show us objects in the heavens, talk about the motion of the planets, Moon, stars and Sun, and answer questions.
While this is obviously primarily targeted toward my students, parents and families and community are invited as well! I would like to know approximately how many to expect so that they can be sure to have enough volunteers to accommodate the number of interested attendees. So, if you are interested in coming to check out the heavens with us, please let me know and be welcome!
