Austin Bowling, morning Meteorologist from KSWO Channel 7 News, came to speak to Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Osborn's science classes on February 10th. He presented a very interesting and timely look at the causes of severe weather, how the storms build, how meteorologists forecast it and how they alert the public. Mr. Bowling discussed the importance of storm chasers and spotters and included video of an F4 tornado he chased near Snyder. It was a truly fascinating presentation and he will definitely be invited back next year!
