Elgin National Honor Society
is hosting a Dog Show for the Elgin Animal Shelter. All proceeds will be given to the shelter to help pay for the care and needs of the animals that they rescue. The Elgin Animal Shelter is a No Kill shelter and sometimes they have animals with them for a long time. Placing some of the animals they rescue is hard and can take time and Money. They rely on public volunteers. If you are unable to donate money, but still wish to help, they are always needing volunteers to feed, walk, clean up after, or to just socialize the animals. -Dogs are not the only animals they rescue.- Even shelter animals need love.

The Dog Show will be at Osborne Park on the 9th of March. Pre-Registration will be at noon and we will begin at one. All pets and their owners are welcome, just make sure that your pet is on a leash! If you wish to enter the Contests, the fee for each contest entered is $10.00. Note: You do not have to pay to come to the Dog Show, only contestants must pay the minimum fee. Donations would be greatly appreciated.

There are a variety of contests, all of them on the entry sheet. Please remember that Osborne Park is a public park and any pets you bring must be friendly, securely leashed, and please remember to pick up after your pet. National Honor Society is excited for this chance to bring some fun to Elgin and much needed help for the animal shelter. If you do not own a dog, please come anyway and watch the Dog Show! The animal shelter will bring adoptable dogs to the Dog Show.

We accept any donations to help the animal shelter. Remember the fee to enter in the Dog Show is $10.00. Please go to the Entry Form page to get a printable copy of the entry form or pick one up in the office at Elgin High School.
